Hi, everyone!

I've been playing Minecraft with a friend on a Paper Bukkit server. Since I'm not always online, I share the world file with him so he can play while I'm offline.

Here's the issue: when I shut down the server and share the world file with him, all of his player data—like experience, inventory, and ender chest contents—disappears. The world itself is fine—chests, villagers, and everything else are still there. The strange thing is that when he tries to play the world in single-player mode, he can't access his personal data, even though everything worked perfectly fine on the server.

Interestingly, when we transfer the world from his single-player game to the server, everything works as expected. His personal data transfers without any issues when moving from single-player to the server. The problem only seems to happen when we move the world files from the server to his single-player game.

We tried a few things to fix it:

  1. Removed all player data except his.(didn't work)
Does anyone know why this is happening or how we can fix it? And Can anyone please explain how Paper Bukkit manages player data and world data?
